The Miami-Dade Coalition for Community Education is a non-profit advocacy organization who promotes the benefits of Community Schools and Community Education. In doing so, we provide these services through outreach community events, scholarships, and sponsorship opportunities. Our ability to continue to support is dependent upon our membership and sponsorship opportunities.
Who can become a member? Any person, parent, PTSA group, business organization, social agency or non-profit organization that supports Community Schools and Community Education is encouraged to become a member.
Why become a member? Today more than ever, Community Education needs a voice! We need commitment from our members to support and collaborate with our Community Schools in order to continue fostering and helping our students reach their full potential. Being a member of our Coalition will help further strengthen our efforts to advocate on behalf of our students who attend Community Schools and enroll in MDCPS before and after school programs.
Why become a business partner with the Coalition? It’s important to give back to your community. The Coalition works with businesses that want to give back in any way they can. We want to continue to grow, but we cannot do it alone. Businesses are encouraged to become members and we reciprocate by supporting those businesses that want to partner with us and help us get the word out.
