Coalition – Events 2021-2022
Painting from the Heart Art Show – This show will provide students who are presently enrolled in Miami-Dade County Public Schools the opportunity to explore their own passion in the “Arts” and showcase their work for their family, friends, and the community. Each school will be allowed to submit up to 10 paintings/artwork. Renowned artists, painters, and administrators will judge the paintings. Recognition will be given to each submitted entry. This event will take place (virtually via ZOOM) on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
Parade of the Stars Talent Show - All Community Schools, as well as Before and After School Programs are invited to attend. If you have talent, we encourage you to participate in our Annual Parade of the Stars Talent Show. Every year, the M-DCCE puts on this event and raises awareness of all the talented students that attend our Community Schools. This year, a total of four prizes will be given (one in each category) to the best singing ensemble, dancing ensemble, cheerleading ensemble and instrumental ensemble. This fun filled event brings out a great crowd of enthusiastic parents and children. This event will take place (virtually via ZOOM) on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.
The School House Awards Breakfast – This is our annual event where teachers, administrators, volunteers, and businesses get recognized for their commitment in Community School Education. Awards are given out in several categories for their achievements. It truly gives administrators the opportunity to recognize those individuals that have given so much to Community Education. Event details (location/date is proposed for Friday, May 6, 2022) will be forthcoming, as it is pending approval.
